Sex therapy is a specialized form of counseling aimed at addressing sexual concerns and improving intimacy. It involves open discussions about sexuality, relationships, and any challenges or issues you may be facing. Together, we’ll work on understanding your needs and goals, and develop strategies to enhance your sexual well-being and satisfaction.

There are too many benefits of participating in therapy to list! Therapists can provide support, problem-solving skills, and coping strategies for a wide range of issues. A therapist’s objectivity can provide a different or fresh perspective on a problem that you have been struggling with.

Therapy sessions are typically 50 minutes long. Clients typically meet on a weekly or bi-weekly basis depending on the client’s needs. The length of time while in therapy will depend on the individual client’s circumstance. We can discuss these factors together.

I do not accept insurance at this time. However, I do offer a monthly superbill for clients who would like to be reimbursed by their health insurance provider. For any questions you may have about this, we can discuss it more upon your initial consultation.

The initial session will be an initial assessment to discuss your history and needs for treatment. During this first session, you will have the opportunity to see how therapy will work, review office policies, and informed consent, as well as determine whether or not you are comfortable with the therapist.
